Tiny houses: why more people are living in miniature

An excellent piece in The Conversation by Alice Elizabeth Wilson, PhD Researcher in Sociology at the University of York whose research looks at the tiny house movement in the UK. "I am interested in who lives in them and why, and in the barriers that people face to living in this way," she says. "I am also building my own tiny house at the same time. I am excited by the idea that people could build their own houses – it is a lot of fun – and halve their living costs at the end." Well worth a read with some interesting links to other articles and research too.
