Micro-homes for homeless people in Cambridge

Homeless people in Cambridge will soon be able to make use of five new micro-homes around the city centre, reports the Cambridge News. They are the work of homelessness charity Jimmy’s, social enterprise New Meaning, and the Allia Future Business Centre and will be in place for at least three years, after which they may be moved to a different site. Each home will have a floor space of 25 square metres with a separate bedroom, bathroom, utility room, and an open plan living/kitchen area.
