Tiny Houses North Wales

Tiny Houses North Wales (motto: Tiny in space but not in quality) is a family-run business in Llanrwst in the Snowdonia national park. You can see more images of the company's first model on its website here , with designs running from 12ft to 22ft long, sleeping up to six adults, and on a variety of chassis. This first house is 6m x 2.4m with a bathroom with power shower, sleeping area in the upper loft and convertible bed/sofa. Other features include an LPG gas combi boiler and the whole thing is insulated with sheep's wool. Again, much more detail on the site .

Carnock Woods hutting site

As reported in The Scotsman , Carnock Wood, which is managed by Forest Enterprise Scotland (FES), has received planning permission for a dozen hut builds plus a school hut/outdoor classroom. Can you imagine building your own hut, possibly with friends or commissioning a local builder? Can you imagine that first evening when you sit down by your log stove, nice and cosy and with a wee dram or family party to celebrate? Can you imagine waking up in the morning, wondering at first where you are and then setting out, after breakfast, to explore the woods and bring back some fallen branches to chop up for the stove?
