Get your bids in quick for The Living Unit, a three storey tiny home at the White Collar Factory in Old Street, London, which is in situ throughout London Design Festival (running now until September 28) Designed by OFIS Arhitekti and AKT II, units measure 2.5m wide by 4.5m long and 2.7m high and can be stacked vertically or horizontally. Each one has a kitchen, lavatory, bed, and seats and is aimed at one or two people. They are built on a timber frame using plywood board and can be anchored to the ground.
The one pictured contains three units and has very generously been donated to the Architecture Foundation which is auctioning it on ebay to help fund its work - at time of writing, bids were heading towards the £7,000 mark, though delivery and installation costs are extra.
