Nomad Cabin

Out of the Valley design and build what they call 'environmentally sensitive spaces' using a mixture of traditional craftsmanship and modern construction techniques, as well as local materials and timber. As they say: "Simple modest living brings qualities to life that often we can not name. Our rural studio and workshop designs and builds places to dwell and nourish, preserve and enhance." The cabins are off-grid and use solar power.

Pictured above and below in the video is the mobile Nomad Cabin but there are several other designs including:

* Oak Cabin - with oak flooring and verandah, bi-fold doors, canvas awning, king size bed and mezzanine

* Estuary Cabin - clad in charred larch with oak interior, and woodburning stove

* Larch Shelter - birch ply vaulted ceiling and walls
