Rotunda Roundhouses

Rotunda Roundhouses design and build circular timber-framed prefabricated eco-buildings in a variety of sizes and uses from garden rooms to tiny homes including the treehouse pictured above due to be installed in early 2018.

It was started in 2011 by Gemma Roe who was keen to establish a company producing eco-friendly buildings inspired by ancient roundhouses as well as the curves in nature, and that would also encourage wellbeing. For example, Rotunda uses UK-grown timber for its cladding, windows and doors and avoids chemical toxins found in common construction materials and ploughs back a portion of its profits into forest regeneration and conservation projects.

There are also self-build kits available - these are delivered to the site and Rotunda's installations manager will help guide its assembly.
