Tiny House Holidays: The River Den

If you'd like to try living small before you take the leap, one good way is to take a tiny home holiday. The River Den (available at Airbnb) is a houseboat moored at a lovely spot in Wakefield, Quebec, on the Gatineau River. It's 33ft long and 11ft wide with a second floor sleeping area. There's no hot water, electricity, or fridge (though there is a cooler) but there is a woodstove, cooking facilities and sawdust toilet. It's also insulated so it shouldn't be nippy in the cooler months. It's pretty popular, as the comments on site suggest.
